Design

The Prospect was designed by Martyn Lawrence Bullard, who is consistently named one of the world’s 100 top interior designers by Architectural Digest. Building off the 1930s Hollywood Regency style architecture, Bullard created an eclectic mix of Old Hollywood style and sophisticated elegance. His trademark style, which seamlessly blends opulence with modernity, creates a captivating and inviting atmosphere that resonates with guests from the moment they step through the signature red front door.

One of Bullard’s strengths lies in his ability to curate spaces that tell a story, and at The Prospect, each room is a chapter in a narrative of Hollywood glamour and modern sophistication. Classic elements, such as exquisite chandeliers and intricate moldings, seamlessly blend with contemporary furnishings, creating a harmonious balance that feels both fresh and timeless. Each room is influenced by Hollywood icons such as James Dean, Judy Garland and Steve McQueen.

The Prospect has won numerous awards for its style and design, such as Condé Nast Traveller’s prestigious “Hot List”, marking it as one of the top new hotels in the world. The hotel has also been featured in Architectural Digest, The New York Times, Vogue, and Elle Décor.
